Division 2 - Maesglas Res 2 v 3 Aberaeron Res
The young Blues reserves side almost grabbed their first points of the season with a very spirited display against Aberaeron. Aber had already beaten New Quay and Cardigan Reserves in recent weeks so this was another toughy for the homeside playing at Cilgerran.
Although the Blues took the lead through a well placed header by Ricky Holmes, it was short lived as Aber equalised. The away side then went 2-1 up and then 3-1. The young Blues battled their way back into the game and grabbed their second courtesy of Steffan Evans, but it was too little too late. It was harsh result for the reserves side after playing well but next weekend will see a bigger test when they travel to Pencader.
